Veolia Transport Auckland operates the Auckland passenger rail network on behalf of Auckland Transport, with a contract that runs until March 2014.

During summer 2011/12, we worked with Auckland Transport to provide special timetables for events such as the Farmers Santa Parade, Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park and Big Day Out 2012.

We also delivered a four week timetable of bus services during the Christmas and New Year period when large parts of the Auckland rail network were closed to trains so that extensive upgrade works could be carried out by KiwiRail.

We would like to thank all our customers for your patience, while the rail bus services we operated replaced train services. 

The train timetable returned to normal scheduled times on Thursday 19 January, 2012.
