We’re inventing and investing in innovative solutions for the good of the planet, to enhance customer wellbeing and grow sustainable cities. We support local solutions at a community level and work closely with our staff and customers to create transport networks that work for the people using them. One of the company’s initiatives to help make a difference to community wellbeing is our workplace giving scheme, Veolia Spirit. The programme supports Veolia staff who want to make regular donations to one of our six key charities:
Staff can select one or more charities and make a donation which we will match dollar-for-dollar up to $500 annually. We are also a Corporate Sponsor of the Auckland Helicopter Rescue Trust and a regualr supporter of the Starship 'Bring a Phone to Work' programme, where old mobile phones are recycled and money raised goes to support the Air Ambulance Fund.
